What happens if I make a wrong sentence?
Mivo shows you the correct form of your speech without interrupting and briefly explains why in your own language. The corrected sentences go to your My Mistakes Notebook, and you can review them whenever you want.
Can I speak if I'm a beginner?
Yes. In A1 and A2 scenes, Mivo guides you in your own language, shows you what to say, and helps you say the sentence. Scenes unlock according to your level; a higher level can be tried with a 'hard' label.
Do I have to give microphone permission?
You need a microphone for voice scenes; you can skip the permission during the initial setup and give it later. You can also chat with Mivo by typing before turning on the microphone.
In which languages can I use it?
The interface and explanations can be used in Turkish, English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and German. The language you work in is always English. Some translations were generated by AI; if you see something incorrect, please let us know.
Is it free?
Yes, you can start for free: 1 voice scene per day (up to 5 minutes), flashcards, reading stories, and instant corrections. For unlimited voice practice, there is Pro.
What happens to my voice and conversations?
The sentences you speak are converted to text and sent to Mivo; privacy consent is requested in the first voice room. You can see, correct, or delete the short notes that Mivo keeps from the conversations in the app. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
